I've had exactly the same problem. I use spotify premium & have one playlist that is about 500 tracks.
The only way to get round it is to play the first track on the playlist, touch the top bar and then select the list option icon in the top right. you lose the album art etc, but at least you can play the track you require at any part of the playlist, rather than selecting a track and it playing something completely different. Logitech support are aware of the problem, but the thread on their site has been open for weeks and no useful solution, other than the general reset to factory settings etc. which is useless.
