For me I get a click maybe every 30 seconds on average. Apart from that though it does sound noticably better than spdif. I've got the touch sending to the Audiolab 8200CDQ over USB and to my AV amp (an Audiolab 8000AP) over spdif, but I've not yet had them working simultaneously.
