It's not "said",it's fact. Generally you want to keep the Touch volume high and the volume of any subsequent pre-amp low. Keeping the volume high is ALWAYS good, unless you have a pre-amp with very sensitive inputs, in which case the solution is to use in-line attenuators. -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
