hi i'am Attilio and write from italy please excuse me for my bad english... i have two squeezebox touch with software 7.6.1-r9486 that don't read hard disk verbatim 500 giga 2.5" an don't read one usb key kingston 8 giga
When i insert the hard disk in the usb port the SQbox touch start at read but when i go on home menu in usb device --->start squeezebox server start the the read but when the loadin process is complete and i go to "music folder" is write "music folder is not available before the scanning" and this also after too much time (also one day...) i have to try: 1)to download and install the old 7.5.4 software at this link http://update.slimdevices.com/update/firmware/7.5.4/fab4_7.5.4_r9408.bin but when the install is complete the SQbox want necessarily update at new bad software 7.6.1 get blocked on that screen... no return at other screen. Before to install the old softaware i have also reset the unity (to rear panel for over 5 seconds...) Only the first attempt to install the old softaware the SQbox have work normally but also in that case the hard disk verbatim 500 giga was not read...
