There's (almost) always room for improvement in products. All my
current stuff is better that what I had in 1969.  ;-)   And of course
my bank account has improved since then too.... In my case, I would not
swap my Transporter for any of the much more expensive Linn networked
music players.

p.s. take the discussions about improvements with soundcheck mods and
powersupplies, and better ethernet cables, etc. with a grain of salt.
Be particularly leery of the "oh my god, the heavens have opened up and
I've never heard the music sound this good before." The touch DAC is
very good, but there are certainly better DACs than the TOUCH.
