the easiest way is to use the servers web-UI from the laptop . remeber to have port 9000 tcp open on the server and possible also on the laptop
Figure out the servers ip adress for example 192.168.1.5 then http://192.168.1,5:9000 ok ? then you can acess the web-UI on the server from that other computer, thats the whole piont with an web-UI every computer in the house can use it , and itmakes it easier to run servers without any screen or keyboard. or install squeezeplay a beta software that is a " desktop touch " it can also be used as a controller . ( port 3483 tcp/udp must be open in adition to port 9000 ) -- Mnyb -------------------------------------------------------------------- Main hifi: Touch + CIA PS +MeridianG68J MeridianHD621 MeridianG98DH 2 x MeridianDSP5200 MeridianDSP5200HC 2 xMeridianDSP3100 +Rel Stadium 3 sub.
