Hmm iTunes is a special case compared to the normal artwork handling. normal artwork works fine ( always has ) it broke for some people ( not everyone ) during 7.6.0 , but those bugsnare fixed. search this forum forniTunes and artwork. Theremare solution for this. I newer used iTunes ,but is not soo that it uses some special handling off cover art ?
