Even though I have been using the SB3 for many many years, I am
completely new to the touch. I borrowed one from a collegue to test it,
considering to exchange my current SB3 with it, mainly because I read
that the DAC quality (and thereby) sound should be better with the
Touch.

So I have just turn it on to try it but I grew more and more frustrated
than none of the customization I made to the SB3 are available on the
touch.

On the SB3 for instance I can customize how titles are shown, what to
show while it is playing.

Having a very extensive collection, for instance it is a real bummer to
not be able to see the year of release of an album when browsing an
artist's albuns.

I have read about the possibilites with customizing the clock, but that
looks to me more like a very sorrow hack, in lack of better.

So I have two question for anybody more expert than me on this:

1. Can you confirm my understanding that the Touch is pretty much not
customizable on its user interface, or (I hope) I am wrong but haven't
found how to do it? Or perhaps there are some plugins that add this
functionality (but not to the clock).

2. Is the quality of sound of the touch so much better that justifies
having to live with not been able to customize it? P.S. I am using
analog connection to a Denon mid-class amplifier. To me seems that it
sounds different from the SB3 but I wouldn't say it is radically
different.

ANy suggestion is very appreciated. Thanks.
