If you already have the Yamaha then I guess the obvious answer is to try it & see.
>From what I recall, the digital volume control in the Touch only becomes a potential issue at low volumes so you could maybe get around that with attenuators. I think there's a thread or wiki article specifically to do with using a SB direct into a power amp.
