Ah that's a relief, I almost thought I really can't use it that way. But thanks to you I've now found the problem! I wanted to try to change the country setting and discovered that it was set to Germany (god knows why), where Spotify is not avaliable. Now that I've set it to Switzerland it appeared in the app gallery!
