Hi,

I'm trying to set my Squeezebox Touch to simple Internet-radio. I was
wondering I could edit my Squeezebox with SSH to remove the "press and
hold" tapping for extra options (peolpe can accidentally remove or add
wrong stuff).

Another option would be set the home menu as is, without possibility to
add or hide anything in it.

---------------------------------

As a sidenote, here is what I have accomplished so far.

I was able to get the settings menu hidden from home menu by editing
the following file:

/etc/squeezeplay/userpath/settings/CustomizeHomeMenu.lua

and below we can see what the file looks like (except when
experimenting):

settings =
{_nodes={home={"radios","globalSearch","favorites",},},opmlmyapps="hidden",opmlappgallery="hidden",myMusicSelector="hidden",settings="hidden",}

The suggested "noCustom = 1" removal did nothing else except made my
Squeezebox bootloop until resetting to factory settings. Maybe because
I don't have the previously mentioned CustomBrowse-plugin as I haven't
got my server see the player. Player can partly see the server, it can
browse it's (empty) music collection from "my music", but in advanced
settings->squeezebox server shows: "Neither Logitech Media Server nor
scanner are running".

If anyone who is skilled in modifying Squeezebox Touch could help with
my issue? Other cool tips and tricks would be nice too!
