Welcome to the world of buggy, under-resourced Logitech server! I still
get this problem frequently (although not half as much as I used to in
the early days before the firmware was significantly improved). Artwork
does NOT havr to be 150x150 max. Mine is typically 768x768, and I have
had everything working smoothly on many occasions. I think the only
answer is to invest some cash into an external server, which I intend
to do at some point. As things are now, I only have about half of my
music collection loaded onto the Touch at any one time (I have to store
half of my files in a folder that starts with a full-stop to stop them
being scanned).
Maybe Logitech will produce a Touch mkII that will have more built-in
memory (that would be ideal) but until then, either get an external NAS
or similar server - or put up with the bugs and crashes and limitations
of the tiny server.
