Thanks for the replies. I think the re-buffering was being caused by an internet "hiccup".
When I sat down in front of my PC I couldn't access any internet pages or my emails so I powered down my modem for a few minutes and then re-started it. The SB is currently playing 24/192 flac files and, after 3 songs, there hasn't been one re-buffer. Also, internet radio is streaming smoothly. Being new to using a SB I guess my first thought was that it was a fault with it and not an "outside" problem.
