this won't affect sound quality at all. The server is only important
for getting the bits to your TOUCH (whether "tinyLMS" inside the TOUCH
that you are currently using or LMS running on a sheevaplug, or win
computer or mac computer or NAS, etc.).  There is no affect on audio
quality.  This said, the effect may be on things like the data delivery
(buffering, dropouts, etc.).

There is an advantage of using a computer (sheeva, nas, or more
powerful computer) in terms of ability to use more plugins, access to
LMS via webGUI, etc.  I assume you have a computer, just install LMS on
your computer and then serve music from it to the TOUCH and see what you
think about it.  Sound quality should be identical, but browsing, etc.
may be snappier.
