I use my TOUCH as a stand alone player for SD cards and USB sticks. I just updated my firmware to 7.7.1 and found that when I switch off the power conditioner after listening, I need to select: language and region again. It then asks me to select my network connection.
>From that screen, I've (so far) been able to hit the HOME button on my remote and get my Home Menu. From there things work fine. (This may happen if I leave the power conditioner and just turned the TOUCH on and off, but I haven't tried that.) My older firmware went straight to my Home Menu when I powered it up. Makes me wish I didn't upgrade it.
