The computer running LMS server software has little or nothing to do with SOUND quality (assuming the computer has the minimum power to actually serve the music files without buffering, etc.). Understand that the beauty of the SB player approach is that the players (your TOUCH) is entirely independent of the sound card/audio capabilities of the computer running the LMS software. I have a Vortexbox setup at two different homes and really like them. But this has nothing whatsoever to do with sound quality.
