I'm glad to see it's not just me that's hearing a "switching" noise periodically. My Touch is fed into a DACMagic and every few minutes or so I hear the sound of a switch being flicked. Very annoying, especially late at night when playing music at a quiet level. I believe the noise is coming from the DAC but am not 100% sure since the two things are right next to each other, connected with a short optical cable. At first I thought it was the sound of my central heating switching on and off (!) but after turning that off and later putting my head up to the Touch waiting for the noise to happen again, I know it's coming from either the Touch or the DAC.
I wonder if this is the Touch switching to low power mode or something?
