I installed the EDO today on my Touch. My connection is
Server->Router->Touch->W4S DAC2. Connections are Ethernet, then coax and
USB from Touch to DAC. I am using a PC with Windows XP.

No problem playing 24/192 files through coax, but USB does not play. I
called W4S and was told the server must connect directly to the DAC. The
W4S DAC comes with a driver disk and, although it seems to install from
the disk, the DAC is not recognized and the drivers do not appear
anywhere on the PC (where did they go?). When I plug the USB in, the W4S
seems to recognize the Touch, as the display shows a sample rate of 48
kHz, which is blank when not connected.

Does the uDAC come with driver disk? Possibly a difference between DAC2
and other W4S DAC's? How did you get the EDO to play in adaptive mode,
as Triode says it won't? And what would be the point if you cannot use
asynch with USB when coax works perfectly fine? Thanks.

And a big THANK YOU to Triode for all the work and attention!
