Somehow doing one or all of the following seems to have solved the problem: - returned the Touch to factory settings. I changed the name while I was in there. resetting this may have been overkill, perhaps one of the other steps below fixed the problem. - I noticed that I had named the Boom on the Boom itself, but mysqueezebox.com did not have the name (still showed Squeezebox Boom) - stopped the server and rebooted LMS and then manually started LMS.
