I have some old Phil Hendrie clips that, until recently, have played
fine on both my Boom and Touch. In the past there were a few files that
wouldn't play on the Touch but I just assumed that they had some screwed
up frames or encoding that the player didn't handle. Restarting the
server would sometimes make them work.

I decided to listen to some clips that I hadn't heard in a while and
many of the ones at lower bitrates/sample rates don't come across on the
Touch. The server and touch both indicate that the file is playing, they
work fine on the boom, and the logs report no errors. I've run them in
VLC and mplayer and neither reports any errors.

I can't find a pattern that might explain why certain files aren't
audible. The files are tagged and named consistently, no locale issues,
etc.

Example files that play and don't play on the touch:

56k 22.05khz CBR mp3 (mpga), Mono
48k 22.05khz CBR mp3 (mpga), Stereo
24k 24khz CBR, 24k 22.05khz, 32/24, 24/16, etc.

Has anyone had similar issues?
