What kind of wep code ? Some require you to use some hex <> ASCII conversion in some cases .

(hide ssid ,does not *really* hide it , it is visible in other ways to ) . Also wep is very unsecured , some say you might aswell turn it of completely . And also don't use b/g mode b mode makes the whole wifi slower and is useless .
