That pop-up menu was definitely not coming up for me, but is now. Here's what I did.
First, I created a "+" button on my Harmony remote. I had tried to do this yesterday, looking for the word "plus" in the list of available commands, but it's not there. Today I took more time and saw the word "add." Voila! That's the plus button. A press of this button on Harmony remote now brings up the add-track pop-up menu. Second, after using the button on the remote to do it, I then tried the long press on the screen again. It worked immediately. I can't explain this--it's like having used the remote button woke up this function. I'm going to focus on the result and not the "why." I have the function I wanted now. Thanks! Sorry you don't do much walking or climbing these days. I must say that if I don't drop about 20 lbs. (a stone+?) or so soon my days might be over, too.
