bikerboy wrote: > Hi the vol is fixed at 100% Well I can only think something has gone wrong with the "digital volume control" because you are getting the same faint sound from both the analogue and digital outputs, which precludes something being wrong with the analogue pre-amp circuitry. It also precludes some disaster in the digital circuits as you would not be getting any music at all, faint or otherwise!
IIRC the "volume control" is a software / firmware implementation so I cannot think of a way of correcting it short of reinstalling the firmware and doing a factory reset. In fact if you have not reset to factory defaults yet that would be my first step anyway. I am not sure if there is a way to force a re-installation of the firmware on the Touch. On the Controller this can be done via the firmware loaded onto an SD card.
