In theory you should be able to download the SqueezePlay debian
installation package from:
http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=7.7

And then from a command line run:

    sudo dpkg -i squeezeplay_*_all.deb
--------------------


As long as you only want to control the Touch I think this should work,
if you want to play music on the Ubuntu machine it can be more tricky as
I know some people (including me) have had trouble getting that to work
properly.
