hi had this problem a while back and in the middle of getting advice for it, it all started working again, but....... its happening again, so id like to find out exactly whats wrong please.
as i stated in the title, i can play the music stored locally on my laptop, but i cant play 6 music which ive always been able to before. ill give you all the info i can on it. i go to switch library, my laptops the only option, i choose it and it says connecting, then appears to be ok. i go to favourites, where ive got my radio stations, plus onmysqueezebox.com, which would also lead to a seperate set of favourites. i choose 6 music, it says fetching details, but never does. i go back and choose mysqueezebox.com, but it says 'couldnt resolve ip address for www.mysqueezebox.com'. as for ip address diagnostics, these are my addresses..... if i go to control panel on the laptop server and diagnostics, LMS server ip is 192.168.1.2 mysqueezebox.com server ip is 176.34.103.98. all the pings are ok. information tab says my logitech media server status, server ip address is 127.0.0.1 on the touch itself, i go to settings, advanced, diagnostics, server info and mysqbox.com ip address keeps changing every few seconds. in general info my firmware version says 7.7.2 r9663 in settings, advanced, squeezebox info it says LMS 7.7.2 r3389 i get mixed up with all these ip addresses, but wondered if any of this makes any sense? i just want it to work!! :-/ thanks a lot ------------------------------------------------------------------------ sadexpunk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=53382 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=95750 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
