^ Have you completely rebuilt your music library lately? Have you done a music disk defrag lately?
I find the first one to be quite important for LMS. I do it whenever I add a fair bit of stuff, seems to eliminate the bugs I got when I only did a scan for changes. The second one may be useful depending on how you do things. I always rip to .wav, format to taste, copy .wavs to backup disk, then delete the .wavs from the "music disk".
