Agree it could be the hub, but in this context its a usb hub not an
Ethernet one...

First thing to look at is whether the the dac is async and whether
feedback is working or not.  Look at the settings > audio output >
digital output menu under your dac, does it say say the dac is working
in async mode.  If so does the frequency change by small amounts every
second or so while playing?  If it is not changing then try an
alternative hub.

Also - make sure that you don't have TT3 or any other additions
installed if you have problems so you can validate whether EDO is
working on its own.
