Don't know if there is something wrong but I'm getting a really low opinion of squeezebox now. I replaced my sonos connect with a touch because it supports 24/96 but its been nothing but a pain in the arse. With the sonos I just had the connect and controlled it with my iPad app which is very well designed. The squezebox app looks cheap and seems to respond very slowly if at all. I have to use a SB media server and currently have it running on my QNAP NAS but either the media server, SB touch or iPad app seem to lose connectivity with each other. There is nothing wrong with my LAN as it is hard wired cat 6e run specially for streaming to my NAIM system.
Am I doing something wrong here??? All I want is to have is the SB touch connected to my pre-amp and control it via an iPad with my music stored on a NAS. Do I have to have this media server crap or mysquezebox.com malarkey. Thinking very strongly about going back to sonos, even with its limitations just the fact it works and has an app that seems to have been designed with thought is blowing this annoying thing away currently.
