Especially the acoustic noise ,for example putting a NAS in the hifi rack . Many of them are not silent at all and certainly not most desktops or even laptops . That was what sold me the squeezebox paradigm in 2006 , but the gap is getting smaller if you nowadays can control a PC player from an app thus not be tethered to using the PC as an interface . Next issues would be sync with multiple devices if possible .
