Check with Beresford if >48 k is supported on USB this is not always the case on all DAC's , Hmm why is not LMS downsampling to 48k ? Must admitt that I don't know enough to figure it out ( the sox downsampling will sound identical thus solving your problem ) are you streaming everything as PCM/WAV instead of flac ?
