Hi there. I'm starting to get very frustrated. I'm not new to Squeezeboxes, in fact I have 2 SB3's (my first even has the Slimdevices logo, from before the Logitech purchase.), and a Boombox. I usually have a Server running, until recently on FreeNAS, now on Ubuntu, but wanted to be free to use Spotify without the server and triode plug-in, so a bought a Touch.
I have nothing but trouble with it, particularly with Spotify but with internet radio as well on occasion. With Spotify, the player usually just does not play - it sits there with the track I call up on display, and remains silent. Sometimes, if I leave it long enough it will play the track, but more often than not it won't. If it actually does play, it may stop half-way through the song, it may or may not play the next song, etc etc. With radio, it may play the station, it may not, and usually stops playing after a random time - sometimes minutes, sometimes an hour or so, but it never ever keeps playing until I tell it to stop. I never have experience this behaviour with my older Squeezeboxes using the triode plug-in. Is the Squeezebox Touch perhaps faulty? Any ideas? Any tips for troubleshooting gratefully received.
