Thanks to both of you. Well, as I said I had pointed LMS to the Music folder, which is below the Media folder and contains no photos except album art and no videos. And I had unchecked Pictures and Video in the Basic Settings. Also on the ReadyNAS I had disabled everything but LMS. But still, after the music scan had completed, apparently successfully, it went on to "Search for media files" and did it for 2 hours - of course not finding a single file - until I aborted it.
I've tried to connect to the root of the NAS via PuTTY, using the NAS's ip, port 22, and my admin password for the NAS (which works for accessing the shares via Windows Explorer), but I get a "padre unknown" error message. Isn't there a way to connect to the root of the NAS via WinSCP? Thanks again for the help, and pardon the ignorance. I'm a geek, but a music geek, not a computer geek ;O) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Lestrad's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=40857 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96327 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
