I love my Touch but I have to admit it is flakey. Particularly when jumping back to previous menus or changing library. It frequently comes up with the "can't connect to 'my library', or the server is not running. (which it is) My major gripes seem to be caused by lost connections (even @45% signal), music just stops or I can't regress a menu, so I keep on re booting my router. (At the moment a cheapy TALK TALK D LInk DSL-2680).
I run my (huge) library from an external USB HD connected to LMS on my IMac. Again so often there is a lag, no connection, then it works maybe it's all a lag on the network? Any tips on a good DSL router that may help, I also run another Touch at the other end of the house via a Netgear Extender that seems to work well so Netgear may be a preferred option just to keep it simple. Oh how good is simple!
