There is a difference between being bit perfect or not and not having any impact on sound quality... The Touch with replay gain disabled and volume at 100% is bit perfect and will pass the bit perfect test of the Audiolab MDAC for instance. Whether you notice and audible difference between it and any other playback system is can be influenced by things other than being bit perfect (as long as it is bit perfect) - any noise also transferred over the interface, clocking etc and you may have tested other systems you prefer, but this should not be implied that it is due to either system not being bit perfect. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Triode's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96419 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
