Hi Let's say I have a squeezebox touch connected to my stereo amplifier and I can play my music from my laptop in good conditions, using the dac of the squeezebox.
What solutions do I have to stream the music of the movie I watch on my laptop on the same stereo system ? I read that streaming the sound of the movie via the squeezebox will work but there will be a delay which means that the images of the movie and the sound of the movie will not be synchronized. I don't mind using a USB or any wired connection to the squeezebox to avoid delay. But I would like to avoid directly pluging my laptop to the amplifier without using an external DAC because I believe the sound will not be good using the soundcard of my laptop and a jack.
