Hi, I've just purchased a new Touch, and loaded everything up ... except when I play through the touch the sound is completely distorted.
I was previously running my music to a Transporter, but that died (in the most frustrating way ... everything looked like it was working ... except no music .. ugh). Anyway, I'm running ... Logitech Media Server Version: 7.7.2 - r33893 @ Wed Mar 14 05:47:42 PDT 2012 and the touch Player Model: Squeezebox Touch Firmware: 7.7.2-r9663 I'm trying to play to a Schiit Gungnir (upto 192/24 capable). When I play directly to the DAC from my laptop (with the Schiit drivers) it plays like a dream. When I go into the advanced digital output thing, I can see the DAC and the info it displays is Status: Running Speed: High Connection: Direct Type: Async Frequency: 48000Hz (<- this number bounces around a little bit) Format: S32_LE Rates: 44100,48000,88200,96000,192000 Feeback format: None Interval: 125 us Ah ... I think I'm finding the problem ... it's getting the frequency wrong ... it was 48000 after I played a 44100 track.
