Did a bit more research on this and I think the following might be the way it works (similarly for other Squeezebox devices (i.e. Radio, Duet, etc...)):
1. Every Squeezebox Touch P/N, as listed on the back of the Touch, is: 830-000040 2. MFG number, listed on the box, can vary: such as 930-000090, 930-000074, etc... I've seen these numbers listed online, sometimes called part numbers, sometimes manufactures numbers. I'm interested in buying a touch, but want to make sure it hasn't changed at all over time (doesn't sound like has).
