what if you do NOT install EDO.  Does the Touch play 16/44.1 and 24/96
files OK?  EDO is not needed to play up to 24/96 files. And sorry, I
forget whether your Touch is connected to an external DAC.  If so, what
happens if you connect to stereo WITHOUT the external DAC (trying to
remove the external DAC as a potential problem).
