Today I decided to do some structured testing. I reset all my players and start playing music at them simultaneously. To my surprise it all went well! I played different radio stations, different music from WiMP, and local MP3 files stored on the server in a mix. Even some tunes from my old playlists with Spotify entries played (even If I have no subscription anymore?) Then suddenly one of the players got a “connection reset by local host” After that it would not play any more Internet radio or WiMP. Just local MP3 files.
I then increased the “buffer length for Internet radio” at the server, and also the “Wait time for radio station” and reset all the players and started up radio on all. It went good for a long time and I thought that I have solved the problem and stopped all the players but one. After some time I tried to start again but now I got the “connection reset..” error again  But not on the playser that had been playing all the time. Maybe this is a clue? Conclusion so far: The problem is not connected to switching player. When a player have had one error it will NOT get back to normal without a reset You can always play local MP3 files so it must be related to some network thing More testing later: Please share your own testing ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Fermate's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=57506 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96670 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
