Yes. I also tried restoring the factory settings, re-installing the firmware, changing the brightness (because I read on the net that this sometimes helps) and rebooting the SBS (ditto). The only thing that worked, temporarily, was the firmware re-install -- after it had finished and rebooted, the clock was back, but, as soon as I turned it on, played a track, and turned it back off, it disappeared again.
