Both for this reasons. 1 They cost about nothing , like a pizza or something, and I do like us to support all viable projects around squeezeboxes :)
2 They are like apples and oranges to each other they do things a bit differently with different design goals , sometimes one app is better and sometimes the other . Over time I gravitated to use iPeng more (but thatÂ’s me ) . 3 You cant really decide this beforehand with second hand information , to make this decision you must actually try for yourself a couple of months and then maybe unistall the app you did not like . Go to the creators websites and have a look too, they describe their products pretty good themselves . In short imho . SqueezePad is what the logitech app should have been ,it is very close to the UI ways of the squeezebox itself ,but it works better. iPeng installs it's own UI experience and has a lot of functionality . The Major deal for me here is that ipeng is the only squeezebox interface that does player sync and volume sync in a good way ,so imo this is the obvius choice if you got more than one squeezebox. For example you have relative volume sync not absolute (which is crucial otherwise volume sync is useless ) . iPeng may have a sligthly steeper learning curve ,but it has built in tuturials have a look at these . ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mnyb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4143 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97366
