And just to blow your mind: Any Laptop, PC, Tablet, Smartphone, (using the correct app/software) can become a squeezebox player. Any squeezebox player can control any other player on your network, e.g. you can use your Touch remote/touchscreen to control music playing on your Laptop or PC or iPad mini etc...
