This looks like linux thinks the only modes it supports are ADAPTIVE,
not ASYNC - can you confirm it is intended to support async usb (can't
see that on the web site?)  Does it need a firmware upgrade to the
interface chip to do this?  Does it work in any other modes on a desktop
linux machine (latest linux kernel)?  Are there reports of this working
in async mode with linux?
