I had a problem starting LMS in Win7 automatically at system startup. It definitely works differently from Vista. I opted for a system service at service but it never started. The problem was UAC questioning the startup. Not good for an unattended system.
http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/window-on-windows/run-uac-restricted-programs-without-the-uac-prompt/730 points to an article that explains how to create a task to run a program from a shortcut. UAC never asks about running a task, only about running a program. Follow the instructions to create the task. Then add the shortcut to the task to your startup folder. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ GreyBeard's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=21797 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97666 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
