Intrigued by this I set my watch to exactly time.windows.com (which my FreeNAS uses to synchronise) and then booted into the bios. It was running 1.5 mins slow so I reset it to exactly that of time.windows.com.
That was Sunday and guess what? My LMS has now stopped losing time and is still spot on. Very odd why a slightly wrong bios time causes it to drift 7-8 mins but there you go, it does. So thank you very much guys as this was very annoying!
