I tried the ping test and didn't get any timeouts, so that is another bit of information. I have not yet tried swapping the units, but that will probably be my next step.
However, yesterday after I posted the original question the SBT stopped in mid-play, did a full reboot, and then resumed play. Since that happened I have not seen the "connect to..." message again. Perhaps the reset fixed something?
