The reason not to uninstall EDO is that I will be from time to time testing other USB DACs and asynch USB-SPDIF converters and would like to have the functionality present at all times. My question was: Is there a way to specify the top sample rate on the server side without going into the code? I could not find anything like that in the menus. FWIW, my files are all ALAC, both standard and hi-res, if that affect anything.
