It's been a while since I had a SB3 on the network, so I'm working from memory. If you open the player settings in LMS (thee page where you can fix the output to 100%) you will see something there about attenuation. This affects the analog outputs on the SB3 - IIRC if you have a value there of 63 then there is no output, and if you reduce the figure then things get louder.
