I`ve had my Touch for several years now plugged straight into a NAD receiver using the analogue outputs. I`m wirelessly streaming FLAC in 16 and 96 from my computer. Originally I was told the Touch itself had a very good DAC processor... but as time has gone by I`m wondering if purchasing an external DAC may be the best way to upgrade my system.
Any advice on a new DAC for use with the Touch? Or something else I should do to upgrade? I`m not the most technilogically savy person nor have I kept up with new technology. Have some 192 files... but not a lot... and so 192 compatability would be nice.
