Not really obsessed, but perhaps because it is there? One of the draw of Async USB, FWIW, is the ability to slave to the DAC's clock, and I assume the main reason/assumption for EDO is that the clock of the SBT *may* by chance be worse than a high end DAC. But yes I am obsessed with the Squeezebox platform. The Devialet already allow steaming from computer to DAC directly via Ethernet, and USB in from my Mac Mini. SBT via USB should not really be needed. But I have been with the Squeeze platform for a decade now and old habits die hard. Anyway, if there are Devialet users out there, feel free to chime in to discuss anything about it. I changed from dCS/Vitus to this one box solution for the convenience, without expecting it to out perform the previous setup. And I was wrong. Long story but it is by far the best sounding piece of audio equipment I have had the privilege of listening to.
